This sweet and spicy Asian broccoli is one of the easiest side dishes you'll ever make. It only takes about 5 minutes, and you don't even need to cook the broccoli. I make this for get-togethers, and it always gets rave reviews.
Start with 1 large head of broccoli, about 1 to 1 ¼ pound, and cut the stem off. Cut the florets into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of sriracha sauce with 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup. Stir together and add the broccoli. Toss the broccoli until it's all coated. Taste and add more sriracha or syrup depending on how spicy or sweet you like it. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top for garnish. And that's it! As Ina Garten would say, how easy is that?
